Activity 5: YouTube

I found this activity to be quite easy and useful. I chose to upload my screencasting video. This seems like a great place to store and organize videos. I added some channel art, and I plan to play around a bit more.

  2. Julie, Great video. You do a nice job of moving at a pace easy for the students to follow. Is your grade level actually using IXL this year? Do you know how it is going to be funded. I think it is a really great tool.

  3. Nice channel art friend! Is that at the lake? Are you planning to utilize the Playlists feature within your YouTube channel? I am trying it by organizing the different content area videos into individual playlists (Math, Science, How-To, etc) but I am not sure if this is the best way of doing it or not.

  4. Excellent work, Julie! Have you considered using Khan... since it's free? We should talk about it.

  5. GOOD! Having your own Youtube channel is a great way to organize and store the videos you actually use in class, and to house the ones that you make yourself!

  6. When I saw the comments about the channel art, it made me want to figure out how to get to your channel from this embedded video. It really is a nice channel art picture! Beautiful lake scene.
